A child in a stroller suffered minor injuries following a hit-and-run in Halifax on Tuesday afternoon. Police responded to a reported vehicle-pedestrian collision in the 2700 block of Clifton Street around 4:05 p.m. They learned a 2016 black Jeep Cherokee allegedly hit an adult and a child in a stroller when they were crossing the street at an unmarked crosswalk. The child went to hospital with minor injuries. The adult also suffered minor injuries, according to a news release from Halifax Regional Police. The driver is described as a white man with a tan complexion between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt that was possibly a construction shirt.
