Winnipeg police are investigating after a man was believed to be stabbed by a group of youths at The Forks Market late Monday night. Police said the victim, a man in his 40s, was walking through a park area in the area when he was confronted by a group of unknown youths and stabbed. The group then fled the scene. Officers and the K9 Unit responded to the scene just before 11 p.m., police said in a news release. The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition. His condition has since been upgraded to stable, police said. The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
