Police in Chatham-Kent are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash. It happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Jeanettes Creek and Coutts Line, in Tilbury Township. According to police, a pickup truck was travelling westbound on Coutts Line and collided with a dump truck that was travelling southbound within the intersection. Police say the driver of the pickup truck, a 44-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The driver of the dump truck suffered minor injuries. The Traffic Management Unit attended the scene and is investigating. Police had the intersection closed for several hours, but it has since reopened. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
