A new grocery store will be setting up shop at a Winnipeg mall. T&T Supermarket, the largest Asian grocery retailer in Canada, announced Thursday it will be opening its first store in Manitoba at CF Polo Park. “Winnipeg is more than a thousand kilometres away from the nearest T&T, but we’ve found a way to bring T&T’s immersive Asian food experience to the community,” said Tina Lee, CEO of the company, in a statement. T&T Supermarket, based in Richmond, B.C., has more than 40 locations across North America, including 37 in Canada. The company has been operating since 1993. The supermarket features a hot food bar, fresh Asian produce, baking, and Asian beauty products. The Winnipeg store will be built in the lower level of the mall and will be 48,000 square feet in size. It is currently expected to open in Spring 2028.
