The Saanich Police Department is asking for information after series of drive-by egging incidents in the community last month. Police say around 9 p.m. June 4, they were alerted to a group of people in a black sedan throwing eggs at other vehicles and pedestrians. The incidents were reported in the areas of Interurban and Marigold roads and Shelbourne Street and McKenzie Avenue. Officers found the vehicle just before 10 p.m. and arrested four people, who were released with conditions. “Investigators believe there are additional victims that have not yet been identified,” the department wrote in a statement Wednesday. “If you were struck by an egg thrown from a passing vehicle on June 4, our investigators would like to speak with you.” The department can be reached at SA26-10488@SaanichPolice.ca.
