A Brampton man is facing charges after police say he fled the scene of a single vehicle collision in Caledon. According to OPP, officers responded to a call for the collision around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. It happened on the Highway 410 northbound off-ramp at Hurontario Street. Police say a black Tesla SUV collided with a guardrail, then entered a ditch and the driver was then seen fleeing the screen on foot toward Treeview Crescent. Officers arrived on the scene and were able to locate the driver shortly thereafter. Following an investigation, the 63-year-old driver was charged with operation while impaired and failure to remain. His vehicle was impounded for seven days and his licence has been suspended for 90 days.
