The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is investigating an assault that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries. Shortly before midnight Aug. 18, police were called to an alley in the 1400 block between 14th Street West and 15th Street West. Parkland Ambulance was on scene treating an injured person. The victim, a 42-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains. The MCU continues to investigate the assault. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
