Human remains discovered in a Regina backyard earlier this year have been identified, according to police. In an update issued Thursday morning, the Regina Police Service announced that human remains discovered outside a home on the 1300 block of Retallack Street in June have been identified as Wayne Joseph Breed. Breed was not listed on any missing persons databases, and a match was only found by searching the national RCMP DNA database, according to RPS. An investigation into the circumstances of his death is ongoing. Breed’s family has been notified of the development. As of today’s date, Breed would have been 34-years-old.
