Two men have been sent to the hospital after a crash that shut down Highway 400 in Barrie Wednesday at sunset. Paramedics say the men have non-life-threatening injuries. Police say Highway 400 northbound approaching Dunlop Street West was shut down while emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle crash and traffic came to a crawl. Authorities say the far right lane has reopened and tow trucks have been dispatched to the scene as of 7:20 p.m. Barrie Fire tells CTV News one of the two firetrucks that were on scene got a flat tire when it hit some debris, causing a lane to still be blocked and further delays. The collision happened at around 6:40 p.m. According to an OPP social media post, roads were repoened as of 9 p.m. on Wednesdays.
