A man had his right leg amputated after being caught in a grain conveyor in the RM of Lajord on Wednesday. Kronau Fire Chief Paul Fischer confirmed to CTV News that responders were dispatched to the Lajord Inland Terminal around 1:18 p.m. Between STARS Air Ambulance, RCMP and the Kronau Fire Department, roughly 20 people were on-site responding. Fischer confirmed the man was transported to hospital by STARS. The RM of Lajord is roughly 33 kilometres southeast of Regina.
