Prince Albert RCMP are investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian near MacDowell. Police say they received a report of an injured person on Highway 11 near MacDowell at about 1:40 a.m. on July 30. A 34-year-old man from Prince Albert was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. His family has been notified. RCMP say the initial investigation suggests the man was involved in a collision with a vehicle. Police say the vehicle did not remain at the scene. Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate with assistance from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist. Anyone with information is asked to contact Prince Albert RCMP.
