Three men have been charged in connection with the alleged manufacturing and trafficking of methamphetamine pills in Quebec, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Jean‑Sébastien Sévigny, 30, from Venise-en-Québec, and Guillaume Joly, 31, from Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare, have been charged with production, trafficking and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. Guillaume Bourgault, 30, from Montreal, is facing charges of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. The RCMP explains that the charges are the result of an investigation that began in the fall of 2024. “As part of this investigation, a clandestine methamphetamine production lab found inside a small warehouse was dismantled in Bromont in May 2025,” the force said. “In total, nearly four million tablets were seized, as well as 5.8 kg of pure methamphetamine, significant quantities of chemicals and laboratory equipment used to manufacture drugs.” The accused are scheduled to appear at the Granby courthouse on Aug. 24.
