The Greater Sudbury Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance to locate Yasmine Santos, 28, who is wanted on drug trafficking charges. Santos was charged with two counts of drug trafficking related to a major drug bust in February. “As a result of that investigation, detectives seized approximately $150,000 worth of illicit drugs and arrested two individuals from southern Ontario,” police said in a news release July 31. “Detectives have made numerous attempts to locate and arrest Santos. However, she is believed to be actively evading police. As a result, investigators applied for and were granted a warrant for her arrest.” Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service’s drug enforcement unit at 705-675-9171, ext. 6751 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-TIPS (8477).
