The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) is investigating the city’s eighth homicide of the year. At about 6:45 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of an injured man lying outside in the 200 block of Avenue V South. The 24-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he later died. The Saskatoon Police Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are investigating. An autopsy on the man will be conducted Aug. 4. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
