A London man is facing a number of charges after police located an unconscious driver in the east end of the city Thursday evening. At approximately 8 p.m. an off-duty London police officer observed a vehicle stopped on Florence Street near Kellogg Lane. As the officer approached to check on the driver, the vehicle began moving and struck a nearby fence. As he approached the vehicle, a man was found unconscious behind the wheel. The officer called 9-1-1 and police and paramedic services attended. The suspect male was arrested without incident. A search resulted in the seizure of the following items: As a result of the investigation, James Beretta, 29, of London, has been charged with the following offences: The accused is scheduled to appear in London court Friday in relation to the charges.
