A hit-and-run collision on Lake of Two Mountains between two boats on Aug. 5 injured a person, according to the Montreal police. At about 3:15 p.m., a yellow and white boat collided with another watercraft, injuring the person operating it. The two suspects involved in the collision, a man and a woman, fled the scene without exchanging required information. Lake of Two Mountains (Deux Montagnes in French) is west of the Island of Montreal and north of the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge. Police are asking the public for help in identifying the driver and passenger in the boat involved. Based on an image released by police, investigators believe the boat may be a Sea-Doo Sportster model. Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to call 911 or contact their local precinct.
