Woman found dead in west Edmonton, homicide detectives investigating

A 29-year-old woman was found dead in a home in west Edmonton on Friday and police believe her death is “suspicious.”

On Monday, police said the woman was found at about 6 p.m. by officers carrying out a welfare check at a home near 95 Avenue and 164 Street.

An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday.

Homicide detectives took over the case and are asking anyone with information to call police.
