Man in serious, but stable, condition after southeast Calgary shooting

Mason DePatie has details on a shooting outside a southeast restaurant that left a man injured.

A man is in hospital after a late-night shooting in the parking lot of a busy southeast Calgary restaurant.

Police were called to the parking lot on Macleod Trail S.E., just south of Glenmore Trail, around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night.

Officers arrived to find a man who had been shot.

He was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to serious but stable.

A nail salon in the parking lot was hit by at least seven bullets, with one shattering its glass front door.

Investigators could be seen interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for CCTV footage.So far, no arrests have been made.
