Calgary police are investigating a car prowling in the community of Douglasdale last month that resulted in shots being fired. Police say two people were believed to be prowling vehicles in the 100 block of Douglasview Road S.E. at 4 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, when a resident confronted one of them. The suspect is alleged to have pulled out a gun and fired a round into the air before running off. The suspect is described as between 5β8β and 6β tall (173 to 183 centimetres) with a medium build. He was wearing a black, grey and white hoodie with a chevron-style pattern on it, black pants, black shoes, a black baseball hat, a face covering and a crossbody bag. Anyone with information about the suspectβs identity or the incident in general is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
