Two teenagers were caught trying to break into a construction vehicle in Bracebridge. Provincial police say they were on patrol Friday morning at around 2:45 a.m. when they saw the teens attempting to access a mini excavator in a rental parking lot. Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) started talking to the youths, one of whom was 14-years-old and spoke with police earnestly about their conduct. The second youth was uncooperative and charged with a variety of offences including: The second youth will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Youth Court in Bracebridge October 1 to answer to their charges. The identity of the accused is protected under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
