Winnipeg drivers are being warned of major traffic disruptions this weekend. Kenaston Boulevard and parts of Lagimodiere Boulevard are closing for rail crossing maintenance, the City of Winnipeg said Thursday. “In both locations, drivers should plan ahead, use alternate routes, and anticipate delays in the areas,” the city’s media release said. Lagimodiere Boulevard will close to southbound traffic between Dugald Road to Marion Street. Kenaston Boulevard will close in its entirety between Lindenwood Drive East and Rothwell Road. The closures begin Friday at 6 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. on Monday.
