A Barrie man is facing criminal charges and police say he used a car to carry out a violent attack. According to police, a call for service led officers to a neighbourhood in Bradford, where they located a man who claimed to have been intentionally struck by a vehicle. Police say he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. According to the police’s investigation, the incident was targeted and the victim and suspect are known to each other. The suspect, a 42-year-old man from Barrie, now faces a number of charges, including attempted murder, assault with a weapon, criminal harassment, uttering threats and dangerous operation. Police say the incident is believed to be isolated and there is no threat to the public.
