At least two people were pepper sprayed at the Place-des-Arts metro station on Thursday evening after an altercation escalated at around 11 p.m. In video shared on social media, individuals can be seen fighting before using the cayenne pepper. Several people were on the train at the time. Montreal police were called to the station and say the suspects had fled the scene before police arrived. Two people who were on the boarding platform appeared to be affected by the cayenne pepper attack. No one has been arrested in the matter.
