Crash in Vaughan leaves motorcyclist dead: police

A man in his thirties has died after his motorcycle collided with a car in Vaughan, the driver of the car is co-operating with the investigation.

York Regional police say a motorcyclist in his 30s is dead after a crash in Vaughan Sunday night.

Police told CP24 that a motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the intersection of Rutherford and Weston roads at approximately 11 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene.

Police said the intersection was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
