A London man has been charged after allegedly pointing a replica gun to a vehicle, according to London police. A suspect was arrested within minutes of a weapons complaint Monday evening after a witness reported seeing what appeared to be a firearm pointed at a passing vehicle in east London. On Sept. 7, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a man was driving in the area of Belfield Street when he saw a suspect point what appeared to be a firearm toward the passenger side of his vehicle. The witness immediately contacted police. Officers responded, located, and arrested a suspect a short distance away. During a search following the arrest, officers located two replica firearms inside the suspect’s backpack. One of the replica firearms matched the description provided by the witness. As the investigation continued, officers also located several identification and banking documents belonging to other individuals, along with a quantity drugs and drug paraphernalia. The following items were seized: As a result of the investigation, Ryan John Wilson, 46, of London, has been charged with the following offences: The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
