An investigation is underway after the Saskatoon Fire Department says a pickup truck crashed into a house Friday afternoon. The crash was reported shortly before 1 p.m. on the 100 block of Lynd Crescent. Fire crews helped the truck occupant out of the vehicle who was assessed by fire medics and then transferred to an ambulance to be taken to the hospital. The fire department says the crews also assessed the house for structural integrity. A search of the home confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated. The scene was turned over to the Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation. No other details were immediately available.
