Residents in the Queen City can expect no break from a truly hot July, as temperatures north of 30 C are forecasted. Following a 30 per cent chance of showers on Friday, Residents can prepare for a scorcher on Saturday. The daytime high is forecasted to reach 34 C, while a night-time low of 18 C is paired with a 60 per cent chance of showers. A slight cool-off is slated for Sunday, with the daytime high forecasted at 31 C and a night-time low of 15 C. Similar to Saskatoon, clear and sunny conditions are expected to last well into next week, with daytime highs ranging from 31 C to 28 C. The city is on the edge of both air quality and heat warnings as of Friday afternoon. Heat warnings have been issued for much of southern and western Saskatchewan including the communities of Moose Jaw, Estevan, Weyburn, Swift Current and the Battlefords.
