A fire ripped through a building in Port Hardy Wednesday evening and it’s unclear if anyone suffered any injuries in the blaze.
Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire at 354 on the Tsulquate Reserve around 5:30 p.m.
According to officials, the fire had spread to all levels of the building.
Port Hardy Fire Rescue said due to the complexity of the structure it decided to launch an exterior attack on the building.
Port McNeill Fire Rescue and Coal Harbour Volunteer Fire Department were called in to help. RCMP, BC Ambulance Service and BC Hydro were also on scene.
Fire officials said despite the efforts, the structure was a complete loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
