Ontario Provincial Police say one person is dead after a collision on Highway 17, west of Deep River. The crash happened at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, on a stretch of highway between Yates Road and McSourley Lake Road in Head, Clara and Maria Township. A car and a motorcycle collided, sending one man to hospital. In a news release, the OPP said the 51-year-old man later died of his injuries. He has not been identified. Police continue to investigate.
