A Calgary restaurant had a very special customer after a concert at this year’s Stampede. Maurizio Abdi is the owner of La Brezza restaurant in Bridgeland. The Italian eatery has been a part of the city’s restaurant scene since 1987. Abdi was at the Flo Rida concert at this year’s Stampede when the artist came into the crowd. Abdi got the chance to speak to him briefly and it led to a big order -- and a big opportunity. Flo Rida put in an order for his crew -- about 25 people -- to be delivered to his private jet. And it came with a tour. Abdi says Flo Rida’s favourites were the chicken parmigiana and the calamari. Flo Rida is on tour in Europe and has a new single --“Vacation”-- dropping next Friday.
