Approximately 30 homes in Tay Township and 60 homes in Midland are without power, according to NT Power. The energy company took to social media to share the information with residents. In Tay, the company says 31 homes in the area of Lumber Road and Ellen Street are without power due to a broken hydro pole and downed power lines. The company says there is no current timeline on when power in Tay will return. Residents in Midland’s Old Fort Road and Elliot Sideroad area may also be facing outages due to a tree taking down a power line. The energy company says power should be back in the area by 9 a.m. For updated information, visit NT Power’s outage map.
