Prices at the pumps increased overnight in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick following unscheduled adjustments. Nova Scotia Regular self-serve gasoline increased by 6.5 cents in the Halifax area. The minimum price is now 177.0 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by 9.3 cents. The new minimum price is 229.3 cents per litre. Cape Breton motorists are paying 178.9 cents per litre for gasoline and 231.3 cents per litre for diesel. The Nova Scotia Energy Board said it was changing prices due to “significant shifts” in the market. New Brunswick Regular self-serve gasoline did not change overnight in New Brunswick. The maximum price remains 179.8 cents per litre. The price of diesel increased by four cents. The maximum price is now 239.6 cents per litre. Prince Edward Island The price of regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. has not changed since last Friday. The minimum price is still 180.4 cents per litre. Diesel remains at a minimum price of 228.7 cents per litre. The next scheduled adjustment for all three Maritime provinces is Friday.
