People across Canada were invited to be a part of a rare underwater interactive project Wednesday.
Divers are exploring marine life in the Emerald Forest off the coast of Vancouver Island Wednesday morning and afternoon.
The Fish Eye Project was streamed live online and was also shown at several IMAX theatres across the country – including IMAX Victoria and the Stewardship Centre in Port Alberni.
Viewers were able to ask the divers questions during the live dives by using the hashtags #IMAXLive and #LiveDive on Twitter.
The Fish Eye Project is in celebration of World Oceans Day.
