A Windsor Park pool that has been closed to the public for a year and a half, will reopen after a $6.7 million renovation. Renovations which began in May 2024, include universal and gendered change rooms, a new accessible sauna, and a new multi-purpose-room. The front lobby, air conditioning, and other mechanical systems were also upgraded. The Province of Manitoba put $3 million towards the project in 2022. The indoor pool at 1215 Archibald Street will begin operating on Nov. 17. St. James Civic Centre Pool remains closed for renovations. It is expected to reopen in November 2026.
