The Downtown Mission is inviting Windsor to enjoy a Thanksgiving community meal Thursday. It will take place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. An estimated 250 to 300 people are expected. “Thanksgiving is the time to come together and make sure everyone in our community knows they have a place at the table,” said Rukshini Ponniah-Goulin, Executive Director of The Downtown Mission of Windsor. “For many of the people we serve, these holidays can be an especially difficult and isolating time. This meal is about providing a warm Thanksgiving dinner, but it is also about community, dignity, and connection.”
