Halifax Regional Police is looking for a man who allegedly threatened a woman with a needle as part of a robbery last month. Police responded to the reported robbery in an Esso parking lot at 174 Ochterloney St. in Dartmouth around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 21. They learned a man entered a woman’s vehicle while it was parked and allegedly demanded she drive to an ATM to get cash. He also threatened her with a needle, according to a news release from police. “He then directed her to drive him to downtown Dartmouth where he exited the vehicle and fled with a quantity of cash,” the release reads. The woman was not physically injured. The suspect is described as a white man with long light-brown hair and a beard. During the incident he was wearing a thin black jacket, a blue bandana, a black hoodie, black pants, gloves, and grey and white sneakers.
