The City of Regina wants resident feedback on its construction process. The city wants to review how projects are planned, coordinated and delivered, following the Continuous Improvement in Construction Practices motion that was brought to council in March. Residents are invited to participate in an online survey on the City of Regina’s website. The survey seeks feedback on topics including: “We know construction can also create challenges for residents, businesses and commuters,” Regina Mayor Chad Bachynski said in a Wednesday news release. “This engagement is an opportunity to hear directly from those affected and from the industry professionals delivering the work so we can continue improving how projects are completed in Regina.” The city’s engagement includes surveys for residents, businesses and construction industry participants, along with meetings with impacted parties, associations and educational institutions. “We’ve made improvements to construction planning and delivery over time, but continuous improvement requires listening and learning,” said Kurtis Doney, deputy city manager with city operations. “The feedback gathered through this process will help identify what is working well, where challenges exist and what opportunities may be available moving forward.” The feedback and findings of the survey will be presented to council in early 2027. Residents have until Nov. 4, 2026 to take part in the survey.
