Need transit directions in Victoria? There’s now a built-in app for that.

iPhone users have received notifications that Apple Maps will support transit in the Greater Victoria region.

Anyone running iOS 9 will see the update on their phones sometime Monday, Apple said.

Victoria joins Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal as the only Canadian cities to be integrated into the app.

It means users can open up their Apple Maps application and choose “transit” instead of just getting directions for walking or driving.

Users will be able to view bus schedules as well as bus routes and stops on the map.

According to Apple, it receives data from 250 transit agencies worldwide to power the app.
