Authorities are trying to track down the rightful owners of approximately $20,000 worth of suspected stolen tools that were recovered from an Abbotsford, B.C., property last week. The Abbotsford Police Department said officers found the tools while executing a search warrant at a property on Marshall Road Friday. “Investigators are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the rightful owners and are releasing photos of the recovered tools,” the department said in a news release Wednesday. Police urged anyone who is either “missing similar items” or “has information that may help identify the owners” to come forward. The search stemmed from a break-and-enter that was reported in the Fraser Valley community in the early morning hours of Aug. 27, at a business on Forge Place. Furniture and other merchandise stolen during that incident was also recovered during the Marshall Road search, police said. Two suspects were also arrested. Charges of break-and-enter have since been approved against 44-year-old Mario Jovic and 49-year-old Richard White. Police said the suspects are both known to police, and both remained in custody Wednesday.
