Caledon OPP has laid more charges against a man who was a sports camp worker and skating instructor. The sexual assault investigation has been a lengthy one that police say dates back three years. Alexander Armitage, 33, from Uxbridge, is facing five more charges, including three counts of sexual assault of a person under 16 years old, three counts of invitation to sexual touching of a person under 16 years old, three counts of sexual interference and forcible confinement. The charges were laid in February of this year with the first report of a sexual assault back in 2023. Police say at the time of the incidents, Armitage was working at Teen Ranch, a non-profit, Christian sports camp for youth in Caledon. Investigators confirm the accused is no longer working at Teen Ranch and the organization has been cooperative throughout the investigation. To encourage more victims and witnesses to come forward, police have released two photos of the accused. Anyone with information relevant to this investigation or believes they were a victim, is asked to come forward to Caledon OPP or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
