Mounties say a man was hospitalized after a targeted shooting in Salmon Arm, B.C., on Saturday, and police have since arrested three people in connection with the incident. Police say they responded to the shooting at around 5:21 p.m. and learned that a man was shot by a group of people who left the area in a white pickup truck. The victim then entered a nearby business looking for help, according to Salmon Arm RCMP. Police say they found the victim, and he was transported to hospital by B.C. Emergency Health Services with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation began, and Mounties say identifying a suspect and vehicle connected with the shooting led them to a home in Sicamous. Salmon Arm RCMP explain that police dogs and a tactical unit were deployed and police “established containment” before searching the home and arresting three people without incident.
