A truck driver has died following a workplace incident at an industrial warehouse in Vaughan Friday night. The City of Vaughan says Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service responded to an industrial accident at 9501 Highway 50 shortly after 10:30 p.m. In an email to CP24, The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development confirmed it was notified of a workplace incident involving a truck driver on Saturday, Oct. 10, and sent an inspector to the scene. The ministry confirmed the incident was fatal but has not released further details as its investigation continues. York Regional Police are also investigating the incident.
