Tofino’s airport is in line for a multi-million dollar investment from the federal government.
The airport will receive $5.4-million through an apron and taxiway rehabilitation project.
It’s one of the 13 safety improvement projects announced by Transport Canada at 11 airports.
Three projects are in B.C. and the other two are in Masset.
Transport Canada says local airports help support and sustain vibrant communities.
