A three-car crash at a contentious intersection along the Pat Bay Highway sent three people to hospital Wednesday night.
A car turning left on to Keating Cross Road from the highway was hit by a southbound car, according to fire officials.
That car went barrelling across the road before hitting another vehicle waiting to turn left.
None of the injuries suffered by the three people sent to hospital were thought to be serious.
First responders urged people to use caution when turning at the intersection.
“Pay attention,” said Central Saanich Fire Deputy Chief Rob Nelson. “There should be an overpass here but there isn’t so people just have to be careful making left turns.”
The driver who made the left turn will likely face charges for making an unsafe turn, according to police.
