Two detached garages were damaged in a fire in Saskatoon Saturday afternoon. According to the fire department, the blaze was reported at around 1:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Ave. K South. Arriving crews observed smoke and flames coming from two detached garages before attacking the blaze from the outside. A search of the area confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated. No civilians or firefighters were injured. A fire investigator remained at the scene Saturday to determine the cause and origin of the fire and estimate the damage.
