The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) is investigating a morning traffic collision at a busy intersection. Two trucks suffered severe damages in the collision. One of the vehicles settled on the median, and the other, which had a smashed-in front and damage to the truck box, came to rest in the nearby Travelodge parking lot. A traffic light was also knocked over in the collision. As of 7:30 a.m. Friday traffic restrictions are in place for both east and west bound traffic on Circle Drive North, between Avenue C North and Idylwyld Drive North. North and southbound traffic continues to flow normally. Patrol and Collision Analyst Units are investigating and will provide updates. There’s no word on what caused the collision, or any injuries.
