A pilot has died following a small aircraft crash near Rosetown, Sask. According to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB), at around 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, an Air Tractor AT-502B collided with terrain about 15 nautical miles northeast of Rosetown during an aerial application flight. Local RCMP and paramedics responded. RCMP confirmed the pilot was fatally injured. Their identity has not been released. The plane, operated by Precision West Ag Corp, which was doing business as Provincial Airways, suffered substantial damage in the crash. Investigators with the TSB have been deployed and are set to arrive at the scene Wednesday morning. TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline and rail transportation occurrences.
