Prince Albert police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of involvement in a robbery that left a man injured last month. Police say the robbery happened July 28 near a bus stop in the area of 28th Street West. Police received a report around 8 p.m. that a man had been assaulted and robbed after stopping to give a woman a ride. According to police, the victim picked up a woman near the train tracks on 6th Avenue West after she asked for a ride to an apartment complex. The woman directed the driver to the area of 28th Street West, where the vehicle stopped near a bus stop. Police say a second woman then got into the vehicle. “The two females assaulted the victim and took his wallet. One of the females also attempted to choke the victim. The suspects attempted to take the vehicle keys but were unsuccessful,” police said. The victim sustained injuries during the attack and his shirt was damaged. Police say the stolen wallet contained a Mastercard and other personal cards. One suspect is described as a woman between 40 and 45 years old who was wearing a grey top and had her hair in a ponytail. The second suspect was wearing a black hat and a red top. Police are now seeking help to identify one of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
