A 16-year-old girl was injured while trying to cross train tracks, according to Regina police. It happened Sunday night around 10 p.m. at the tracks near Elphinstone Street and McKinley Avenue. EMS, Regina Fire, police and CP Rail Police were called to the scene, finding a girl suffering from what appeared to be “serious” injuries, according to a Monday news release. She was taken to hospital by EMS to receive care. Police say they’re investigating the incident alongside CP Rail Police, but as of Monday, it did not appear to be criminal in nature.
