Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe will be travelling to Toronto next week to attend the Canada Investment Summit, with the mission of attracting investment in several provincial industries. “The world is uncertain, Saskatchewan is not,” Moe said in the announcement Friday. “It is clear the time to invest in our province is now. There is no place better positioned to help meet the world’s demand for food, fuel, fertilizer, and critical minerals. By taking our story directly to investors, we are bringing opportunities home, creating jobs and building the strongest provincial economy in Canada.” The summit, slated to run Sept. 14 and Sept. 15, will see investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs and business leaders gather to discuss investment in Canada. An “Invest in Saskatchewan” forum will be hosted by the provincial government, focusing on the nuclear sector and uranium development. Moe will take part in a fireside chat alongside former Prime Minister Stephen harper and Cameco CEO Tim Gitzel. In its announcement of the trip the province touted record private capital investment in Saskatchewan, which reportedly rose by 12 per cent in 2025 to $13.6 billion.
